Okehampton Golf Club nestles in the heart of Devon, sheltered by the highest tors of Dartmoor, on the northern edge of Devon's magnificent National Park.

Founded in 1913, members, friends and guests have played golf here for nearly one hundred years and whilst much may have changed, visitors to Okehampton can always be assured of a warm welcome.

Okehampton’s £4.2 million Parklands Leisure Centre is (to date) the largest project ever undertaken by West Devon Borough Council and has been partially financed by a £3.2 million grant from the Sports Lottery. The grant was the second largest ever awarded to the region.

Situated within Simmons Park in the centre of town, Parklands Leisure Centre has something for everyone, offering a wide range of facilities and activities.

Facilities include a four-lane, 25m swimming pool with a movable floor, a four court sports hall, 35-station fitness suite, aerobics studio, crèche and function room.
