| WILDLIFE TV presenter Shauna Lowry is calling for help from West Devon animal lovers. Shauna (right) wants help to save animals from around the world and at the same time give people a chance to win a prize. The competition is part of Animal Action Week 2007, which is run each year by IFAW (International Fund for Animal Welfare) and runs from October 1 to 7. Shauna, the celebrity patron of the week and chief judge of the competition, said: ?We hope local artists will help us to get the message of animal welfare across to people all round the world.? IFAW want help designing a wall poster and calendar to promote animal welfare awareness around the world as part of the special week of activities. The two categories are: up to 18 years, and adult. The requirements are that the colourful painting or drawing should include one or more of the animals that IFAW helps. For information, visit www.ifaw.org The closing date is December 31, 2007. |
