On the third Saturday of every month the Okehampton Farmers' Market stands in the centre of the town spread around St James' Chapel square. Okehampton is a short distance off the A30 main arterial highway.

The market runs from 9.00 am until 1.00 pm.

Okehampton Farmers' Market has 20 stalls of local foods & crafts. You will find pork and pork products, free range chicken, venison, ostrich meat and products, lamb, beef and game in season. Fresh fish (weather permitting) and beer. Luxury pâtés, cheeses, preserves, honey, apple juices and cider. Cakes and chocolates. Vegetables and fruit in season. Free range eggs, yogurt. Herbs, herbaceous and perennial plants.
